March 18, 2011 to Missy: We love Elder Saker!!.... Oops. I mean: Elder Pee-Weed.

HI missy I loved your Email, the jokes were hilarious i was laughin my name tag off. lol well i am going to send you some pics to post on the blog, and to pass around to everyone else. Its easy if i send pics to just one person, but it depends how fast the computer is.. well The first should be of me, and Jason, then tater tot, then Elder Combe on bike, then. The last pic of me, and my appartment in Hemet, and last Elder McHardys first time getting wet he baptized Nick. (the skinny dude dude in the pic with the kid on his shoulders. Well i plan on findin time next week to respond to ya, but i hoped you enjoyed my big email

....................

Hey Elder Broseph!!

Let me begin my email by giving a little Missionary Advice: When a big mean, dog attacks you, just remember, you don’t have to run faster than the dog, … you just have to outrun your companion. Pretty funny, huh?!

Everything here is going great! Parker and I went to the junior high preview and registered him for classes next year. He had hard time mastering the locker combination (because I taught him wrong. oops.), but soon got the hang of it after someone else showed him the correct way. OK. Now this is pretty cool and totally not fair because I didn't get this when I was in Jr High. Each day the students get a half hour of free time. It's supposed to be so that they can get help in the classes they are struggling with or do homework... But, you know that most kids goof off. They can play computer games, lift weights, play in the gym. Whatever they want. Anyway, Parker's pretty excited about Jr High.

Grace and I have started taking oil painting classes and really love it. When we finish a project, I'll take a pic and send it to you. I love hanging out with her! We took a drive to St George last weekend. Ever wonder how Grace gets her complexion to look so beautiful? The secret is.... Llama spit! Just stopped in Scipio and they had a petting zoo. One llama got jealous of the other... and... Viola! Spit all over Grace's face. Those critters can SPRAY! Once in a lifetime. Once in a lifetime. The best part of the experience was when Kate said, "WOW! This is the best vacation ever!" Grace did not appreciate that comment.

As you can see, Kate is still crazy little Kate. She says the funniest things. Here's some of her latest antics:

"Our cookies just aren't as good as Aunt Pammy's cookies. I bet that she is at the Holly Ghost's house looking up new recipes on the internet for all of the different holidays."

"Mom, can you give me a hug? I need a little strength cause my backpack is so heavy." After I gave her the hug she says, "Thanks. That's just what a I needed."
Kate sleeping next to me in bed says, "Mom, please don't toot. My blankets are hot enough already."

Kate pulled a tampon out from under her pillow while I was tucking her into bed. I asked her where she got that and what is was. She said, "I got it out of your bag. I think that it is curling iron for my barbies. What was THAT doing in your bag anyway!" She was a bit offended by my laughter. Sorry Kate.

Emily is doing great! She is so full of life and loves to smile. She says a ton of words, but her favorite one is, "Hey!" She says "hey" every time someone does something she doesn't like. And she says it until you stop. Emy and Kate are like two little puppies playing together. They hug and roll around the floor and give each other kisses all the time. It's pretty funny when they try to that in the bath tub and their little bummies stick out. (sorry. that one was a bit of an over-tell.)

Remember that we love you. The Lord is with you and is guiding you those who are in need of the gospel and you spirit. You are a choice son of our Heavenly Father who loves you more than we can comprehend. He saved you for this day. To serve these people. Keep on the straight and narrow. Keep following the missionary guidelines and you will continue to have great success. I am so proud of you. I am blessed to have you in my family.

With much love and hugs,

Missy

P.S. Here's a few more jokes that you might like:

Q: Why do Mormon women stop having babies at thirty-five?
A: Because thirty-six is just too many.

THE WAY IT IS

THE MISSION PRESIDENT:
Leaps tall buildings in a single bound,
Is more powerful than a locomotive,
Is faster than a speeding bullet,
Walks on water,
Associates with God.

THE ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT:
Leaps short buildings in a single bound,
Is more powerful than a switch engine,
Is just as fast as a speeding bullet,
Walks on water if the sea is calm,
Talks with God.

THE ZONE LEADER:
Leaps short buildings with a running start and favorable winds,
Is almost as powerful as a switch engine,
Is faster than a decelerating bullet,
Walks on water in an indoor swimming pool,
Talks with God if special request is approved.

THE DISTRICT LEADER:
Barely clears a mud hut,
Loses tug-of-war with locomotives,
Can fire a speeding bullet,
Swims well,
Is occasionally addressed by God.

THE SENIOR COMPANION:
Makes high marks on the wall when trying to leap tall buildings,
Is run over by locomotives,
Can sometimes handle a gun without inflicting self-injury,
Dog paddles,
Talks to animals.

THE JUNIOR COMPANION:
Runs into buildings,
Recognizes locomotives 2 out of 3 times,
Is not issued ammunition,
Can stay afloat with a life jacket,
Talks to walls.

THE GREENIE:
Falls over doorsteps when trying to enter buildings.
Says, "Look at the choo-choo!"
Wets himself with a water pistol,
Plays in mud puddles,
Mumbles to himself.

A blurb from Rolley and Wells column, SL Trib:
Two Mormon missionaries in dark suits on bikes recently were left motionless and speechless when two scantilly clad female joggers passed them at Sego Lilly Lane and 1300 East in Sandy.
In fact, they didn't notice a Sandy City police car behind them, until the officer advised over his loudspeaker, "Think of a hymn, elders."

A stake mission leader related this:
When the MTC was built in Provo, beautiful green athletic fields were planted so the missionaries would have a place to exercise. However, they were so inviting that BYU students were attracted there, and you would see BYU students out playing touch football, throwing frisbees, etc. on the missionaries' field. To deal with this problem, a large banner was posted, which read "Missionaries Only."
The next day, BYU students were out on the field, playing touch football and throwing frisbees. They had posted a new banner which read, "Every member a missionary."

March 18, 2011 to Dad: Happy Big 1 Year

Pops, and Family!! I thought i would just maybe send a large email to everyone this week, but i will see if i can respond to y'all individually after this email! :)

This week was awesome!!! I had the privilege to go back into Hemet for 3 baptisms. All 3 happened at the same time, and all 3 were committed to baptism when i left. I had the wonderful opportunity to go into the water again to baptize Jason Clark. I don't know if u remember Jason from any of my emails, but he is a great guy. He has learned and changed soo much since i met him. He was our neighbor that moved in next to us, a long time ago, and we just befriended him well, and he asked us when he could come to church with us, and we got him a ride, and he has been coming ever since. He was quite the shy non social guy when we met him he still has a little trouble reading, but BOM on audio has helped a ton, he had his vices, and struggles, but now he has been baptized and a great addition to the Echo Hills ward. The other 2 people that got baptized were David, and Lori Cooper they actually got married the day before his baptism. AS Elder Combe would say. I left a Gold Mine back in Hemet. I hope Elder Mchardy can continue to uplift those that live in Hemet.

So the work here in the Arlington ward is in what i personally call the Planting Seeds, and Pulling weeds stage of missionary work. We are in finding mode right now, and we are just pluggin along on our bikes trying to talk with as many people as possible. Sometimes i like to think that we are the Spiritual police patrolling the area looking for those in trouble, and need.

Well Elder Combe is the Man. I really enjoy working with him. He is a funny dude, but yet very quiet, and serious he is a hard worker. Hmm i think that would be cool if you met his dad Pops. He is kind if in the same scenario as us, but his mom kind of just up, and left his family a while back. He is the oldest of 4 he has 2 younger brothers, and his youngest is his 11 yr old sister. Elder Combe liked to race motocross, and ride Bmx bikes before he came on his mission. Seems like he has a great solid pops just like us.

Well i cant believe i am over the hump. Crazzzyy! :0 I have learned and grown so much on my mission, or at least i feel that way. I am soo gratefull for all the wonderful oppurtunties i have had while serving the lord. I am soo blessed to have the support i do, and the prayers from those that love me. Please Keep praying. Pray always.

I am soo happy that everyone back home has been doing well, and have been continually blessed. I want the best for everyone! I know that if we strive hard to do the things we now are right, and do the things that we can control. The lord well bless us by pouring out the blessing of things we cant control. He is bound when we do what he says. WEll i g2g i will try to write you all back i love you all heaps, and heaps.

Im going to try, and include some Pics of Jason, and other fun stuff from the mish

March 14, 2011 to Dad

HI Dad!!

Thanks for the awesome Email!! sounds like things at home are still doing a OK! that is Awesome. SO i did get a email From Sam last week. Man i love that kid. I wrote him back a nice email. it was so good to hear from him. He seems to be doing really well.

Well my week has been Awesome. I am picking up on the new area fast. We have biked sooooo much its crazy. i wish i would have invested in a odometer in the beginging of my mission. We also talked to a ton of people i brokepersonal best for OYMS this week. OYM means open your mouth. so three OYMS means you talked with 3 people. The reason why we have done soo much biking, and talking to people is this area is a little dead. SO the past couple months have been interesting for the Arlington ward. So for the past 7 months the Arlington ward just had a senior couple for the Area, and about 6 weeks ago the senior couple moved into the Office to replace the Densleys, and so 6 weeks ago was when Elder Combe, and elder Verma got doubled into the area. Elder Verma Only had a few weeks left on his mission, and he was ready to go, so that slowed Elder combe down from working. Senior Missionaries don't generally tract, so we have also have been tracting a bunch too.

Well i kind of just threw a bunch of random info at you, it as organized as i would have liked. This computer is kind of funky. Anyways Elder Combe is Great. He is a hard worker too. He is from Heber City Utah! my first companion from Utah in the mission. He is an Awesome Elder. I have had such good companions i have been very blessed. He is a funny funny guy. He remarkably reminds me sooo much of Sean its crazy the humor, his actions. everything. I know that the work here is going to pick up. It already has a little bit. I am super excited to find new people to teach. NO matter where you are you can find the children that God has prepared. Elder Combe has been out for 6 months.

The Area here is very nice, but it is big time city area no doubt. The north part of the area is very nice. for the majority it is an all round great area. The only part that gets sketchy, and we are encouraged to stay away from it at night is the casa blanca area. I am already getting a hang of the area, and the streets from all the biking. I am very excited to have the chance to be serving here, and i hope to do my best in picking up the work. The ward is primarily full of older people, and the ward is about 75% less active, so we might be doing alot of reactivation work. Our appartments are right across the street from the our chuch the stake center. Our ward meets at 11, and right after us the Deaf branch has the sacrament. So idk if wing has ever attended the Deaf church meeting here in Riverside on jackson street.

Well i g2g soon, but everything here is awesome, and it has just begun so i will be sure to fill you in on more next week. well ttyl love ya

....................

Hello son how has your week been? Very busy I am sure, moving and getting settled in and getting to know your area and new companion. Hopefully things have been good for you , so your new companion is Elder Combe, where is he from and how long has he been out? Looking at the map on line it looks like a nice area where you are at, looks like maybe there are some orange groves in your area or close around. Well I am happy for you still being on a bike, I think I would preferr that myself, you can probably get around easier than in a car in most cases. So how did your baptisms go on saturday before your transferr, I am sure it was nice you were able be apart of that before you left. Let us know all about you new area and what things are like and what your doing. I have been thinking this past week and have been impressed to say I really feel the Lord put us all in certain places at specific times for a reason. I feel certain you are where you are because the Lord has something special for you to do, so every day look at all those you meet and listen to the spirt it will speek to you heart, do what you feel impressed to with courage and no fear, you will be amazed at what the Lord will do for you.

Well things at home are doing fine, Mic was gone to Reno last week (wed to sat) to a coaching clinic, but the bad part is he came home sick again. Kaylee is doing good she will take off from work after tuesday to get ready for BABY, it could happen in the next two three weeks. Matt and Keira was down this weekend also, it was spring break for Matt last week but Keira still had work but she took off friday, they are doing great Keira was under the weather a bit I think she got something from Matt, he was sick earlier. Red is still working away, she still enjoying Good Earth. Work for me has been picking up and they started opening up on saturdays last weekend. I have been blessed so far still to not get all the sickness going around, which I am thankfull for.

Well I better wrap this up but I have hoped and prayed that all is well for you and your feeling happy with your new companion and area. I am sooooo very happy for you and proud of the great example you are. This week will be the big half way point for you so that means you have to increase your efforts and and work faster so you will be certain to accomplish all the Lord has planned for you. Well I am sure you have thought and planned it out allready. I am excited and looking forward to your email and hearing all about your experiences this past couple weeks. I am so blessed as a father to have such a great son, thank you so much. I  hope and pray you will have a great week ( look and Listen the spirt will guide you) and find those whom the Lord has lead you to that they will find happiness they have never knowen.

LOVE POPS

March 7, 2011 to Dad

HI dad. I dont have much time to Email. i will might have time later this week, but i am getting transferred To Riverside! i will be Companions with Elder Combe. I will be serving in a good part of Riverside in the Arlington ward. I will let you know how it is. when i get there. I am happy to still be on bike!!

....................

Hello son I really enjoyed your email, it sounds like you have some hard and some exciting times coming up. First of all congrats on the two baptisms that is a great note to leave on, I can tell you have done some great things in Hemet and left you mark on those you have met. I know it will be hard to leave those eternal freindships you have made there, thats one of the great things about the church is coming to know and love so many great people. But as you said it is exciting to look ahead to new challenges, new freindships, and know the Lord has many more great experiences ahead for you. I can deffinatly tell the great growth in you and your spirt as you have served in Hemet, and having the first oppurtunity to train Elder McHardy, I am sure it will be hard to part ways but I am certain you have taught him well and he will be a great missionary. It was good to here you had a chance to go to the temple again, what a great experience it is in the temple, I am still going every saturday morrining early an it is so inpowering to me I just can't see myself not going now, I love it.

Well things here at home are much the same nothing really new, the weather here has been a bit rainy also in fact it is cloudy and rainy this morrining. Kaylee is planning on taking of from work about the 15 of this month, it is getting a bit hard for her to stand a cut hair very long. I think everyone is over the sickness purty much, so far I have been blessed to miss it I hope it stays that way. It is exciting though as it gets closer to the baby's birth, just think you will be an uncle.

Well I am going to wrap up, I don't know if you will be able to email if your transferring today but were excited to know your new area and calling. Another 10 days and your at the half way point in some ways it seems fast. My best advice ( and I am sure you plan to) is keep your heart, your mind, your whole soul fully invested in doing the Lords work to the very last day of your mission and you will be blessed with so much joy, happiness, and peace unlike you have ever knowen. With God all things are possible, my you be blessed with his spirt so powerfully that you may know his every will, and have the strenght and determination to do his will. I am so so very happy and proud of you my son, you are a great yong man with an awsome spirt, stay happy and enjoy all the Lord has instore for you. I am graitfull very graitfull  for you and all the Lord has blessed me with, may you have a very enjoyable week and my God bless you in all things.

February 28, 2011 to Dad

Hello Pops. I had another alright week. This week was a little chiller, and wet, but it was a nice chilly. This week was fairly busy, and i didn't get as much done as I would have liked. this week we didn't get a chance to visit Berry, but we will for sure next week. we had a long weekly Planning session, because we were working on these really neat maps. We are able to geographically pin point every members home on a map with every street in our area. This week we also had another temple trip!! i took some pics, but i have been meaning to send you some more! :) Well I actually have 2 baptisms this Saturday! Were are baptizing Nick, who just got married to Jackie on Saturday the 26th. Jackie is a member, but her little sister Cassie isn't. So we will be baptizing Nick, and Cassie on the 5th of march, and most likely i will get transferred on the 7th!!

Leaving Hemet Is kind of going to be bitter sweet. I have grown soo much here, and i know sooo many people here in this large hemet valley. The members here have been great, and i know through there great example there will continue to be many baptisms in Hemet. My bishops have been awesome as well! i have really learned alot from them. Bishop Holtom, and his family are awesome. He told me i should ask to stay longer here. lol. I am excited to go and see other places, but i will miss Hemet that's for sure. I am just super happy to leave on a good note with 2 baptisms.

Well I am glad the Baby shower was a success, and i am glad that Mic, and Kay are feeling better. :). I hope Red doesn't come down with what they had... It seems like it is the season for sickness. I can really see all the bugs, and sickness that goes around when i am knocking on doors. Well pops i sure am proud of you seems like in your past emails you really have been feeling better! I know that exercise, and eating right can do that for you. Keep it up. I love you soo much i don't want you to have any health issues for a long time. Again i hope that all is well back home, and that everyone is doing good, and being happy. Be sure to continue to be Grateful for everything we have. I Love all the advice you have given me. You are The best, and most Faithful father a son could ever ask for. Love U SOO.

....................

Hello son I enjoyed your email, sounds like things are good and your staying busy. Good to here you have another baptism coming up, I hope all goes well for them and it comes through as planned. Your friend Berry sounds like an interesting man, I hope he can bring himself to begin reading the Book of Mormon, I know it is one of the main reasons people are converted to the gospel, it has such a powerfull spirt as they read. I am a bit surprised when you went there that the JW was not more confrontational, on my mission most all of them we met were very agressive and arguementive. But thats good he was'nt it only makes for a bad experience for all. I also understand what your saying about kind of getting into a routine or maybe a rut and it seems like things just are not progressing as you like. It kind of seems easy to just do the usual, but I learned to really work hard at seeking the spirts direction and breaking away from the norm and seeking new people and areas to work. I guess the most important thing is you and your companion pray fervently for the spirts help and guidence and follow thoes feelings and promptings when they come. You are on Gods mission and as such are entitled to his complete help as you faithfully ask. I know for sure He desires to help you that you may sucseed in His great work.

Well things at home are doing better, Mic and Kay are feeling better but not 100 percent yet. They had a nice baby shower for Kaylee at Pam Wilsons home, and they had lots of people show up. I think Kaylee was very happy, Red and Keira was in charge of doing games and had several, everyone really enjoyed them. It sounds like Red may be getting sick though she's not feeling to good today. So far I have been blessed to miss out on it and I hope it stays that way. Matt and Keira came down this weekend for Kaylee's baby shower, it was good to see them it's been awhile since they have been down, but they seem to be doing very good and are happy. I am doing fine, work is starting to pick up a bit I am sure when it gets a little warmer things will take off. I have been blessed with good health and have been feeling better now I am exercising and eating better.

Well its time to wrap up, but I am so very happy for you and all the great experiences you are having, just keep your heart and desires focused and doing all the Lord would want you to do. The Lord loves you and is pleased with your effort to do his will, your a great missionary, with a heart that loves all those you meet. Let the Lord work through you with the guidence of His spirt and many good things will happen. My prayers for you daily is that you may feel the spirt so strong that you may know the will of God in all you do, and that those you teach will feel His spirt also. Love you Son, love you very much and am so proud of the great man and missionary you are, stay happy, love what your doing and enjoy every minute of your mission, for too soon you will be wishing you could stay longer. Have a great week  and may Gods blessings be upon you and your companion.

February 21, 2011 to Dad

Hi Pops!! thank you for the great Email. :)

Things here are still going great!!! Nothing too new happened this week. It was very rainey, and cold though. We did however have a great lesson with one of our investigators! His name is Berry, he is this awesome cool African American that is in his later 60's. He has been looking very very hard for the truth, and he knows there can only be one true religion. He also believes in the apostasy, and in multiple heavens. He hasnt accepted a book of mormon yet, he just wants to study from the bible.. We are getting very close though just this last week we took a member over with us, and we showed up just in time!! Because when we knocked on berrys door he answered it, and said hey come on in i am meeting with the Jehovahs witness' right now. lol so we got in and taught the JW jay dub as well. He was very quiet the whole time, and hardly said anything at all we sure did confound him. Berry, and our member talked for most of the time.

Well i hope Mic, and Kaylee get feeling better. Thats no fun to be sick right before the Baby shower...:( WoW i hope KT is enjoying her new phone. goodness seems like alot has changed since i have left...

I cant believe i have almost been out for a year!! I should have another baptism coming up on March 5th!!! its been a long going process, but this couple is finally getting married, and then the husband is going to get baptized! I am verry happy to be here in Hemet the work has really really picked up. i really just need to keep working harder, and harder, because i feel like i am starting to get a little lazy. I feel like i just know too many people here, and i know there schedules, and i should really always give everyone the chance they deserve to come unto Christ, and recieve the blessings in store for them. I may only have just a few more weeks left here, unless President Reeves chooses other wise. its all up to the spirit.

WELL I love you pops be sure to let everyone know that everything is going A OK.

....................

Hello son it was so great to receive such an awsome, awsome email from you. I can see and understand why that was your best birthday ever, I am sure it was a very spirtual and fullfilling day. I was thinking it will be great because for the rest of your life every time you have a birthday you will also be able to remember your awsome birthday and those who you were able to teach and help bring the gospel into there lives. I am sure it was really special to be able to go back to Redlands and see and be with the members there and Elder Holmguist. I am sure it was great to see Patrick be baptized and know you was able to commit him to be baptized. You know even though we are far apart I could feel your happiness and joy, your happy spirt as I read your email, the spirt is such a magnificent blessing. I to am thankfull for those missionary Mom's that are such a blessing to you, I hope you always let them know how thankfull we are for there kindness and love. I really enjoyed the pic's you sent it neat to be able to put faces to the names, and see your joy and happiness in a picture. It is good to know you have many contacts and people to teach I pray you are able to find a way to bring them to the joy and happiness of the gospel.

Well things here are doing well but Mic and Kay have been sick for the past few days with a bad cold or flew, Kaylee has had a rough day today has'nt been able to keep things down, hope she can feel better quickly. She has been a bit more misserable lately as she gets closer to the due date. Red is still busy working and she just got her a new phone, a I phone G4, verizon now has them, she was very excited to get one. Matt and Keira seem to be doing well, they have'nt been down for a few weeks but plan on coming down this weekend for Kaylees baby shower. Things are picking up a bit at work, although I worked my butt of thursday we went to Salt Lake and pulled apart a huge shelf system that Duff bought and loaded it all up aand hauled it to AF. Now we have to reassemble it inhis back storage area, which I am sure will take alot more time than it did to disassemble it. I am glad I have been working out for the past six weeks or I would have been much tougher.

Well I better finish up, I hope you have had a good week doing missionary work. I am so happy and excited for you and the great spirtual experiences you are having, they will be a blessing and strenght for you the rest of your life. The Lord loves you and is very pleased with your desire to do his will. I pray the spirt will be strong and present with you constintly that you may know the will of the Lord, that He may be able to guide your footsteps and lead you to those seeking the truth. I know He will and can as you faith in him grows and strenghtens. I love you very much and am so thankfull for your great example and spirt, continue to be happy and let your spirt and the spirt of the Lord shine fourth form you, that all those you meet and teach will know you are the Lords servent. I hope and pray you have a sucsessful week may you be blessed for you hard work.

February 14, 2011 to Dad

HI Dad Thanks for the great email! I must say that this was by far one of the best Birthdays i have ever had!! I waited all week to open my package after church Sunday, and everything inside was perfect. Thanks again for all the items. The Health food, the Hair Product, and the soap, and spray. They were all i wanted.

Anyways well the reason why this was one of the best b-days ever is because Patrick did get baptized, and  i was able to go back to Redlands for a Baptism!! Jeffrey Mann's little brothers finally got Baptized. It took a while, because Chris could not be submerged in water, but he is fully healed, and Elder Holmquist baptized him, while Elder Stevens baptized Alex, and i gave the talk for the Baptism! It just so happened that i got to Redlands early, so i decided to see a family that i knew who lived close to the temple, and the church were the baptism was held. I saw the Padgett Family! They are way cool, and they helped us teach a few people when i was in Redlands. So chances are that the Padgetts just so happened to be feeding the missionaries that evening, and it just so happened that i obviously did not have a dinner because i was going to the baptism @ 5 in redlands. The Padgetts also just so Happened to be a Family of all girls, so they were actually having a hard time that evening finding another male present for the dinner. My ride to Redlands just so happened to be another male who is awesome Glen Clement a younger Returned Missionary that always goes on team ups with us. So I had 3 baptisms of people i taught that day, dinner with the Padgetts, and they just so happened to have made an amazing cake for dinner that they put 20 candles on for me! :D I really had an awesome B-Day, and it was as if you were all there too. I too am also thankful for ''Mission Moms'' They tend to be Mothers with Missionaries out on Missions like Sister Gulassa, and Sister Padgett. They are soo nice to Missionaries. Well that was my b-day, and i will be sure to send you Pictures.

I am so thankfull to be out on a mission right now,and I have loved serving in Hemet. the work here is really picking up we have found alot of people to teach, i am just barried deep with names.. I have done a really good job at finding people, now i just need to work on my closing skills. I am soo thankful for all the support i have recieved from you pops, and the whole Family! Be sure to let everyone Know how much i love them Red, Keira, Mic Kaylee, and The Butlers, The Durrants, The Shortts, The Hammonds, and the whole clan back home. Well i will write you more in a sec, but i hope everyone enjoys this email.

....................

Hello son good to hear all is well, I hope you have had a great week and that you had a good birthday. It was awsome to hear Patrick is being baptized on your birthday, I am sure that made for a great day. I hope we did okay with what we sent ya for your birthday I had to round up things quick so I could send it with Patti's mom. If you need anything else let me know I can send it to ya. Well the weather has warmed up a bit and is better I am sure that makes it better for you getting around. So how is the work going you able to find some new investigators to teach. I have been praying the spirt of the Lord will guide you to those ready and seeking the truth. I was at the Temple early saturday morrning and saw Pres. Ivins we sat together in the chaple, he asked about you and how you are doing, I told him you are very happy in doing the work of the lord. Also I saw Pres Hanson ( the stake pres. before Pres. Ivins) he also asked about you, they both commented on how great a young man you are and yes I agreed. It was also a world wide training broadcast saturday morrning from 9 to 11, they went through somethings on the new handbook they introduced a couple months ago. It is so great to be able to go to the temple each week, I have realalized how much I have missed out by not doing it all my life, the spirt there is so stong and it is such a blessing.

Well things are much the same at home, everyone seems to be doing well . Kaylee is down to about six or seven weeks left, it is exciting for them, Mic is excited for the big day ( can't wait) when his little girl will be born. It will be a big time of change for them in there lives, a baby makes life different. Matt and Keira seem to be doing well I know they are sending you something for your birthday, it will probably be there a little late she didnt have your adress and had to call and get it from me. Red is much the same work and school. I am still doing fine, work is starting to pick a bit I am sure with the warmer weather coming it will get take off.

Well I hope you are finding sucsess in your efforts, let me know how things are. I know the Lord is with you and through his spirt will guide and bless you. Remember challenges and difficulties come to strenghten us and make us stronger, as you increase your faith in the Lord and continue to do all you can the blessings will come. I know you are doing an awsome job, with a great attitude and happy, keep up the greeat work. It is all about the spirt, being in tune so He can guide you, and having it with you when you meet and teach people, once they feel the spirt they want more. I love you and pray daily that the Lord will bless you and Elder McHardy as you strive to find those who will listen and obey. May you have a spiritual week and feel the hand of the Lord in all you do.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
